About Me

My name is Talia Wilcox, and I live in Southern California. I am a sophomore at Tufts University in spring of 2023. I’m a staff writer for The Tufts Daily, member of the executive board of Tufts Women in International Relations, violinist, and competitive ballroom dancer. I have a passion for social justice, which has led me to pursue majors in International Relations and Civic Studies. I’m currently interning at the MIT Security Studies Program, where I contribute to research on the nuclear weapons situation globally. On this blog, I write opinion pieces on national issues, such as the epidemic of gun violence, from a student’s perspective. I also cover cultural topics, such as movie reviews of politically engaging films. I hope you enjoy my writing, and be sure to share it!
